For First Timers by Jaime Schier

Harpoon’s quality control manager and 10-time B2B rider, Jaime Schier offers his tips for riders tackling the B2B for the first time.

Jaime has worked at Harpoon for a little over 12 years now and on his first day as a Harpooner he didn’t own a bike. He has ridden 9 of the first 11 editions of the B2B.

The purpose in this space is to talk to those of you who are first time B2B’ers about what to expect, the kinds of preparation that Jaime found useful getting ready for and completing this fun and challenging event, and to share with you some of the preparatory events he has found useful as well as some nuts & bolts type tips that will help make the B2B fun and (a little) easier for you.
