Donation and Fundraising FAQ

Are you making a donation? Then read these FAQs to learn more:

1. Where do the donations go?

The Harpoon Brewery to Brewery Ride, since its inception, has always been a not-for-profit event.  Specifically, this ride benefits 2 charitable causes:  Team Psycho’s Elite Development program and the Kenary Brain Tumor Research Fund at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. All donations go directly to these funds.

2. How do I find a specific rider to donate to?

Use the rider search tool to find a specific rider. Please note that not all riders are fundraising.

3. Can I just donate to one of the charities?

Yes. You can donate directly to either the Team Psycho’s Elite Development program or the Kenary Brain Tumor Research Fund at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Scroll down to the bottom of these pages and click the DONATE button.

4. Is my transaction secure?

Your Website account preferences are password protected for your privacy and security. In certain areas, and in particular when you are making your donation, we use industry-standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions.

5. When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged immediately.

6. Can I send a check?

Yes.

If you’re donating to the Kenary Brain Tumor Research Fund:

Please make checks out to: Pan Mass Challenge (Put HB0052 in the memo so it goes straight to the Kenary Fund).

Are you a fundraiser? Then read these FAQs to learn more:

1. I’m a registered rider. Am I automatically set up to fundraise for a specific charity?

Not necessarily. When you applied in March, you were asked if you’d like to fundraise. If you did not create a fundraising page at that time, then you are not automatically set up to fundraise online.  You need to make sure you JOIN one of the two fundraising teams, and you’ll receive instructions on how to set up your fundraising page from there.

2. How do I invite friends to donate to my campaign?

Use the Support link and in the left navigation bar click Update your Profile. Then, log in and on the right navigation bar, click: Invite Friends and Family
