Chronotrack D-Tag Tracking
Instructions on how the D-Tag Tracking system will work.
- The D-Tag is an orange timing strip that comes attached to your Bib #. Remove the Tag from your Bib and follow these instructions to attach to your bike. We will have examples on site and volunteers to help you attach the tag to your bike.
- Each cyclist has to start in the peloton corral and cross the tracking pads which indicate that you are now out on course.
- At each of the 3 rest stops in West Townsend, Chesterfield and Charlestown, there will be tracking pads that you must go over. Volunteers will guide you in the right way. If you do not cross these pads we will have to assume you’ve gone off course!
- At the finish in Windsor, there will be one final tracking pad to cross. It is here that we know you’re safe and sound. If you do not cross this final pad, we will be calling your emergency contact!
Thank you for following these important instructions. If you do not follow instructions and cross each tracking pad, it will effect your ability to obtain favorable status in your application for 2013. If you choose to take a ride in a support vehicle at any point during the course, that means that you will not complete the entire ride and this will also effect your ability to obtain favorable status in your 2013 application. Only cyclists that ride the entire 148 miles within the timeframe we have allotted and follow the guidelines will be considered a 2012 Finisher.
